Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the customer) and [to be confirmed], [to be confirmed], [to be confirmed] ("Rankshoot", "we"). They apply to this website, the Rankshoot app and the Rankshoot WordPress plugin. By creating an account, paying an invoice or installing the plugin you accept them. If you accept for a company or agency, you confirm you may bind it.

The service

Rankshoot researches, plans and writes SEO content for the websites you connect, and publishes it only after you approve it. For each site you subscribe to, Rankshoot:

• imports the site's pages (through the plugin) and builds a map of what each page is for;
• drafts a business profile that you confirm or correct;
• proposes topics and a monthly plan, which you approve;
• writes each approved piece from live research, with the sources it used;
• sends every version to your reviewers, and revises it when you ask;
• after your approval, creates the post in WordPress (as a draft unless you choose otherwise), updates the existing post where you have allowed that, or hands it to you to place yourself.

We do not promise rankings, traffic, AI-answer visibility or any other search result. Search engines decide those. We promise a clear plan, pieces delivered within your allowance, safe publishing and dated reviews of progress.

Your account

The person who creates the account is its owner. Owners can invite members and site reviewers and are responsible for what happens under the account. Keep sign-in details private. Tell us at once at [to be confirmed] if you suspect unauthorised use.

Your responsibilities

• You must own each site you connect, or be authorised by its owner to manage it and to install the plugin.
• Approval is your decision. An approved version means it passed your review. Review facts, claims, prices, legal or medical statements and tone before you approve. You are responsible for what you publish.
• Give us accurate information about your business and correct the profile when it is wrong.
• Follow the Fair Use Policy, including what may not be produced with Rankshoot.

Plans, allowances and fees

• Plans are priced per site per month in US dollars (Egyptian pounds for eligible Egyptian customers). Current prices are on the pricing page; your invoice is what binds.
• Each plan includes up to a number of pieces per site per month. A piece is reserved when you approve it in a plan and counted when its first draft is delivered for review. Failed pieces, pieces you cancel before writing starts and pieces we agree were off brief are not counted. Allowances reset monthly and do not carry over.
• Monthly plans are billed in advance each period. Annual plans are billed once for 12 monthly periods.
• Agency discounts apply by the number of active paid sites on the account on each invoice date, as shown on the pricing page. They do not combine with other offers.
• Invoices are due on receipt. If a renewal is unpaid 7 days after its due date, we pause new work on that site; your content and data are kept.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A change applies from your next period or renewal, never to a period you have paid for, and never during a founding price lock.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time; the service continues to the end of what you paid for. Refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Content and ownership

• Your content: once paid for, the content Rankshoot delivers for your site is yours, and so is everything you give us. You give us a licence to use it only to provide the service to you.
• Sources: drafts cite third-party pages as sources. Their content remains theirs; keep quotations short and attributed.
• AI: drafts are produced with AI language models and reviewed by people on your side before publishing. Similar wording can occur elsewhere; if you need exclusivity guarantees, tell us before you approve.
• Rankshoot: the software, the plugin (distributed under the GPL), the methods and the Rankshoot name remain ours.

The WordPress plugin

The plugin talks only to Rankshoot, with signed requests. It creates new posts only from versions you approved, and only as the WordPress user you choose (never an administrator). It changes an existing post only if you have allowed updates in the plugin's settings, only with a version you approved, and only if the post is unchanged since that version was prepared; otherwise the update is handed to you. An update can be undone while nobody has edited the post since. You can switch it to read-only, stop it at once with its kill switch, or remove it at any time. Keep WordPress and its plugins up to date; the Rankshoot plugin refuses to write to WordPress versions with known security problems.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and your data backed up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend work on a site, or close an account, for serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or where needed to protect the service, other customers or the law. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to fix the issue. After termination you can export your content for 30 days.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or rankings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected site in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf (for example, data on your site), we do so only on your instructions and for providing the service.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new date and email account owners at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [to be confirmed]. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you directly; write to [to be confirmed]. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
